choreography

I have presented choreographic works at Utah Tech University Faculty Dance Concerts, Florence Italy including Tuscany Hall, France, Kayenta Arts Productions, St. George Dance company,

St. George Community, Shakespeare Festival, University of Hawaii at Manoa, other local venues,

and a residency with Santa Barbara City College.

As an interdisciplinary responsive international artist, I explore the traditional and contemporary elements of various dance genres world wide.  Integrating technique influences, athleticism, and artistry, I pull from the dancers I work with.  My works incorporate the diverse experiences I’ve had within various cultures, including Hula, Okinawan, and Japanese dance. styles  Collaborating with musicians and composers with original score is an an integral part of my artistic development.  Bringing the aspect of live music to the stage with the works I create invites energy, interaction, and key communication between the elements of dance and music.  This provides the audience with a venue to immerse themselves in for personal interpretation and expression

or a more intimate experience with dance.
